Hilton Tokyo Bay Review

For the final stop on our Japan trip, we planned a visit to Tokyo DisneySea and decided to stay two nights at Hilton Tokyo Bay—a choice that turned out to be the perfect way to relax and recharge. Just minutes from Tokyo DisneySea, the hotel offers a great mix of convenience and comfort, making it an ideal option for Disney fans and families alike. While there are plenty of accommodation choices in the area, if you're a Hilton Honors member, this one is definitely worth considering.

First Impressions: Amenities & Atmosphere

The first thing we noticed was the nice smell in the lobby, which made a great impression. The hotel had a spacious, modern design and a warm atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the staff were friendly and check-in was fast and easy. We also liked the bilingual support that helped make everything simple. The hotel boasts a spacious lounge and even a kids’ play area, making it especially family-friendly. Although we didn’t have the chance to enjoy the pool or spa (since it was winter), we did notice that the hotel attracts many families, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. There’s also a fun photo booth next to the elevator, and a train display in the lobby that was both cool and entertaining to watch. For those looking to pick up some last-minute souvenirs, there’s even a Disney store on-site!

The Room

Although we couldn’t book the Happy Magic Room, we were pleasantly surprised with a spacious room that featured a fantastic view. We even got lucky and caught a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance—an unexpected but delightful bonus! Watching the sunset framed by that stunning backdrop from our window was an unforgettable experience. Plus, for families with children, kid-sized step stools and child-friendly toiletries are thoughtfully provided.

Convenience to DisneySea

Staying at Hilton Tokyo Bay has great benefits due to its location near Tokyo DisneySea. As an official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, it provides handy perks like a free shuttle to the monorail and Maihama Station, ensuring quick and easy access to the parks. After a long day of fun, it was nice to have an easy ride back to the hotel. A bus timetable posted at the entrance also made trip planning simple.

Breakfast & Dining

As Hilton Gold members, we enjoyed access to the breakfast buffet on both mornings of our stay—and it truly exceeded our expectations. The selection was extensive, with a great mix of Western and Asian dishes, and honestly, Hilton hotels in Japan offer some of the best breakfasts we've had. My daughter especially looked forward to it each day - they have kid station! For quick snacks or late-night cravings, the on-site Lawson convenience store was a lifesaver. There was also a ramen pop-up inside the hotel—perfect for a warm, comforting meal, especially when we were too tired to venture out.

Final Thoughts

Staying at Hilton Tokyo Bay was the perfect way to end our vacation. It gave us the comfort and convenience of a full-service hotel, leaving us relaxed and satisfied. Beyond its easy access to Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland. While some hotels offer direct shuttle services to Narita and Haneda airports, Hilton Tokyo Bay does not operate its own airport shuttles. Instead, the hotel is conveniently served by the Airport Limousine Bus, which runs on a set timetable for both pick-up and drop-off directly at the hotel, which made our departure completely hassle-free. Whether you're planning a Disney getaway or simply looking for a comfortable stay near the bay area, we wholeheartedly recommend Hilton Tokyo Bay. We’d absolutely choose to stay here again!

TIP: You can ask the hotel for assistance with booking or book your ride directly through Limousine Bus.
